Dr. Watkins received his medical degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California and completed his surgical residency at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana. Dr. Watkins is Chairman of the Division of Podiatry and Director of the Podiatric Residency Program at Tulane-Colombia Lakeside Hospital, Metairie, Louisiana. Dr. Watkins is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. His special interests include diabetic foot care and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.
Dr Markiewicz is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her surgical residency training at Doctor’s Hospital of Jefferson, in Metairie, Louisiana. She is a native Louisianan and was born and raised in Loranger, Louisiana. She started her educational path by completing her undergraduate studies at Southeastern Louisiana University. Continuing her education, she completed her podiatric training at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Markiewicz has been in private practice since 2008.
Dr. Lagman is Board Qualified by the America Board of Podiatric Medicine. He was born in Michigan but moved to Texas at age 4 where he grew up. He attended undergraduate at Texas A&M before graduating from medical school at Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center in Iowa. Dr. Lagman completed an intensive 3-year surgical residency program at Tulane Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana and has been in private practice since 2006.
Dr. Mudek is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Biomedical Science and a minor in Military Science. Dr. Mudek earned her medical degree from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. She went on to join the Army and completed her residency at both the Eisenhower Army Medical Center and Womack Army Medical Center, where she served at Chief of Podiatry Services. She retired from the military in May 2021 and joined Gulf South Foot and Ankle.
Dr. Perry is board certified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his surgical residency training at the Parkview Campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Perry has worked for Ochsner Health System for 18 years before entering private practice in 2016.
Dr. Willis was born and raised in Plaquemine, La. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University. He attended Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Fl where he was a member of Pi Delta National Honor Society. Following podiatry school he completed a three-year medicine and surgery residency at University of Texas Health Science Center- San Antonio. Dr. Willis is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is excited to be back in Louisiana and currently resides in Madisonville with his family.
